EUODI officially unveiled

After doing some focus group tests and test flights on Experiments of Unkindness on One Deserving Individual, we are officially rolling out/launching (choose the corporate lingua franca of your preference) EUODI!

Here is the way the terminology can be used by all followers of EUODI:

EU: Experiments of Unkindness
Comes from Ancient Greek eu meaning well
Pronounced with a fluctuation of sound as it is a dipthong

Don't forget to vote in the Dignity Poll.

ODI: One Deserving Individual
Comes from Latin odiosus, hateful, and odium, hatred.
ODI is related to the English word odious
Rhyme it with Opie (Opie: dopey dog character from ancient comic strip: Garfield).

Now, put it all together and pronounce it: EUODI (don't forget to fluctuate the eu!)

Thanks and gratitude to Gnovos without whose inspiring, motivating and illiterate words, none of this would have been possible.

These experiments don't include violence do they? The Professor's workshop operates under the Geneva Convention and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Also, Robert's Rules of Order. And the Golden Rule.

Do you think LN will let me use the knowledge burst to marketing EUODI?

Shut up "concerned individual" -- you Pansy! The world is a violent place. Get out of your ivoryfuckingtower for a second and look around.

I support these experiments.

The knowledge burst sounds violent. Perhaps a knowledge cushion.

Only waterboarding allowed. Our government said it's not torture. I agree!

Assistant Marvel? I didn't realize you were so well-funded, Professor Marvel. I demand you pay me for my posts. I am the one who is keeping this whole show running. It's about me. Me! Me! Hm, and me!

Postillion, your posts are wreaking havoc with the alignment of the dignity poll that neither I nor the professor have time to correct right away. We appreciate your posts, but if they keep guests from the dignity poll we may have to do a cost-benefit analysis.

Please consider promoting the dignity poll in your posts as well.

I will not promote the dignity post, until you pay me.

When you pay me, and only when you pay me will I be a paid corporate schill!

(Did I spell schill right?)

Professor Marvel said...

No. But you are one.

Professor Marvel,

Your assistant is being mean to me. Make her stop, please!

SJ said...

Hey, how dare you modify my post! I could be the next Jhumpa Lahiri...and you don't respect the originality of my creativity which is as colorful as a rainbow fish.

Dignity is a subject of grave importance to Professor Marvel at the moment. Your refusal to help guide users to the dignity poll was unkind. You're kind of a prima donna, but since the users love you I'd like you to keep writing, with the knowledge that I will modify your posts as necessary to promote the dignity poll.

Rainbow fish are cool and so's postillion so lighten the hell up professor!

Yeah. What Roger said.

Sigh. If I was technologically advanced enough to do my own rotating round of snail images, I'd go write on my own blog.

Anonymous said...

Would you like the snails back, postillion? We decided they were a little garish so we took them down, but we were torn. Maybe we'll put up a poll.

Also, snails required no tech savvy whatsoever. Marvel & Co. are Luddites to the core.

SJ said...

The snails were garish? Did they wear bad paste jewelry? Or red tube tops?

SJ said...

Well, now that I think about it, there was the snail that had glitter on its shell. I think it wanted to stand out and say "Look at Me. I am Special!"

Professor Marvel said...

Postillion, you're right. Snails deserve a place in the workshop. We don't discriminate based on deficiencies in pace (or in concentration or persistence). I hope you like the new additions.

SJ said...

What are you trying to imply, Professor Marvel? Put your dukes up.

Professor Marvel said...

You know, Postillion, the dog in Garfield was named Odie, not Opie. Opie was on the Andy Griffith show. He's done some stuff since, too.

Opie doesn't rhyme with Odi. Odie doesn't "ryhme" with Odi, really. It's a homophone. Good grief.

Wow, now you fully live up to your Professor Marvel name. Your memories and comprehensive knowledge of certain pop culture moments yet again astonish me.
